The Moxie team spent the afternoon of 18 September at Parque do Jamor, trading laptops for zip lines, rope bridges and high-up challenges between the trees. An end-of-summer team building day built on teamwork, trust and a lot of laughs.

Swapping laptops for zip lines

Harnesses on, helmets fastened, and up we went. Course by course, the challenges got higher and the bridges got wobblier, and yes, a few of us hesitated before that first jump. What made the difference was the same thing that makes a project succeed: someone ahead showing the way, someone behind cheering you on.

Trust is also built between the trees

More than a fun day out, it was another chance to connect as a team outside the office. The way we work with clients, in close, collaborative OutSystems delivery teams, depends on trusting the people next to you. It turns out that trust grows just as well on a platform suspended between trees.

Closing the summer together

Back in June, we celebrated 11 years of Moxie with paintball and a traditional Portuguese summer party. Jamor was the perfect way to close the season: the same team, a new challenge, and plenty of stories to bring back to the office.
