On September 24, 2026, Moxie and OutSystems co-hosted a Business Lunch at Solar dos Presuntos in Lisbon, bringing together leaders from different industries around one question: what is the real impact of AI on organisations?
The conversation focused on agentic AI: where it is already creating value, what it demands in terms of data, governance and team adoption, and how it is changing the way business gets done.
1. Value comes from specific processes, not from "AI" in general. The organisations seeing results are those that started with a well-defined, measurable process, rather than a broad AI programme.
2. Data and governance decide whether a pilot reaches production. Several guests pointed to the same bottleneck: access to reliable data, clear rules on what an agent can and can't do, and the ability to audit its decisions.
3. Adoption is a people challenge as much as a technical one. Teams need to understand where an agent helps, where a human stays in the loop, and how their own work changes.
These are the same three questions we work through with clients as an OutSystems Elite Delivery Partner. The technology to build AI agents is no longer the hardest part; turning them into governed, production-ready systems that teams actually use is. That's why we focus on platforms like OutSystems, where integration, governance and auditability are built in rather than added at the end.
What was the Moxie and OutSystems Business Lunch about?A discussion between business leaders in Lisbon on the real impact of agentic AI on organisations: where it creates value, and the challenges around data, governance and adoption.
What is agentic AI?AI systems that don't just generate answers but can take actions across business processes, such as reading documents, checking rules or updating systems, within limits defined by the organisation.
Thank you to all our guests for sharing their experiences so openly, and to OutSystems for co-hosting with us.
